Trenton, NJ – Hearing Chairman Steinhardt’s call for an independent investigation from 5 days ago, Senate President Sweeney and Assembly Speaker Coughlin announced a legislative panel that will serve that purpose.

“Katie Brennan deserves to know why the Murphy Administration hired a known predator and kept him on staff until they were caught by the media,” said NJGOP Chairman Steinhardt. “I applaud Senate President Sweeney and Assembly Speaker Coughlin for heeding the Republican call to put politics aside and ask responsible questions. I look forward to both parties working together to conduct a thorough and meaningful review. This should never happen again.”
