Buono And Strickland, Birds Of A Feather …

April 4, 2013

Ted Strickland Was Fired In Ohio For The Same Failed Record of Higher Taxes, Spending, and Job Loss That Is Plaguing The Candidacy Of Barbara Buono

“It’ll definitely be a meeting of the minds tonight, when Ohio’s job killing former Governor comes to rub shoulders with Jon Corzine’s job killing Budget Architect, Barbara Buono,” said New Jersey Republican Party spokesman Ben Sparks. ”Between the two of them, it’s difficult to say who has a worse record of killing private-sector jobs, growing state debt, or raising taxes. With Buono’s disastrous record of overseeing the loss of 240,000 lost private-sector jobs, billions in debt, and billions in raised taxes, she’s obviously learned plenty about mismanagement from Jon Corzine, and probably shouldn’t begin taking pages out of Ted Strickland’s playbook.”

The Buono/Strickland Record:

Ohio Lost Nearly 350,000 Private Sector Jobs Under Strickland’s Watch. (Bureau of Labor Statistics, Ohio Private Sector Employment, January 2007 – January 2011)

New Jersey Lost Over 240,000 Private-Sector Jobs On Buono’s Watch. (Bureau of Labor Statistics, New Jersey Private Sector Employment, January 2008 – January 2010; New Jersey Private Sector Employment, February 2010 – February 2013, Accessed: 4/1/13)
