New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has the highest favorability rating since taking office in a Rutgers-Eagleton Poll released Tuesday.

Yesterday was a great day for many Republican campaigns but it was also a great day for New Jersey Republicans in general and I offer my congratulations to all the successful candidates, their families, and their supporters.

Tonight, Joe Kyrillos took the first step in becoming New Jersey’s next United States Senator and I offer my congratulations to him, his family, his campaign team, and all the Garden State Republicans who support his candidacy.

I congratulate Governor Scott Walker on his impressive win tonight. I am proud to have campaigned for him and Mary Pat and I are proud to call Scott and Tonette our friends.
